WHO WE ARE
The mighty Tatanka Nation is a father-child program for ages 5-11. The goal of the program is to build and strengthen loving bonds between fathers and their child(ren).
The origins of the program date back to 1927 and was based on the heritage and symbolism of the Native American Indians.
Today, we have taken that original program, made some modifications, and improved it to provide four amazing campouts each year, as well as other events throughout the school year.
Tatanka Nation is designed to get the children and dads out of the city, off technology, while also providing a devotional element to Christianity.
With nearly 400 dads and kids, our McKinney-based chapter includes families from Frisco, Prosper, Melissa & other surrounding cities.
